Accredited Training
Accredited training refers to educational programs or institutions that have met specific standards set by authoritative bodies, ensuring the quality and credibility of the education provided. Accreditation is a formal recognition process that evaluates and certifies that a training program adheres to predefined criteria, which may include curriculum rigor, faculty qualifications, facilities, and student services.
We offer our clients training services that are captivating, engaging, relevant, and timely. In Australia, business training can generally be classified as either “accredited” or “non-accredited.” This raises two important questions: is there a distinction, and do these differences matter?
The accredited training we provide consists of educational programs delivered through institutions that have achieved specific standards established by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (“ASQA”), ensuring the quality and credibility of the education offered. These institutions include TAFE colleges and privately owned Registered Training Organisations (“RTOs”).
Accredited training programs have undergone evaluation and certification by ASQA to guarantee that the program complies with predefined criteria outlined in Training Packages. The Training Packages that are of greatest interest to our clients typically encompass fields such as business, management, finance, hospitality, and more.
The primary advantage of accredited training is that it guarantees the training delivered is standardised and consistent. Accredited programs are generally designed to be comprehensive, aligning with industry standards and workforce requirements. They not only enhance the knowledge and skills of learners but also significantly boost individuals’ employability. Prospective employers often prefer candidates with accredited qualifications, as they can be more assured that these individuals possess the necessary competencies to perform effectively in their roles.
Many of our clients believe that accredited training is crucial for ensuring quality education, improving employability, fostering recognition, and encouraging continuous enhancement in educational practices. By opting for accredited programs, businesses can confidently invest in the future of their staff, knowing they are receiving a well-rounded and respected education.
It is not surprising that the perceived inflexibility of accredited training contrasts sharply with the greatest advantage of non-accredited training. Non-accredited programs are not subject to endorsement from RTOs or TAFEs, which means they are not bound to adhere strictly to established training packages. This flexibility allows non-accredited training to be tailored and personalised for specific industries, businesses, or groups. Often, non-accredited training offers alternative learning pathways that can be equally valuable, or even more beneficial, depending on the individual learner’s needs and objectives.
We also offer non-accredited training across various fields, including cashflow management, budgeting, time management, debtor control, customer service, conflict resolution, leadership, bookkeeping, and more. Additionally, we can create customised or personalised training programs to address the unique requirements of your business. These training initiatives can cover a broad spectrum of topics, from technical skills and vocational training to personal development and soft skills. The adaptability of non-accredited training provides a personalisedlearning experience, frequently at a lower cost and with more flexible time commitments compared to traditional accredited education.
At Australian Business Experts, you have the freedom to select the training that aligns best with your needs. Whether you are an RTO in search of a skilled, professional trainer and assessor or a business owner requiring a training program specifically designed for your business and its team, Australian Business Experts is equipped to deliver the right training solution.
